Make a meal out of it.

In Luke 15, the religious leaders complained that Jesus “takes in sinners and eats meals with them, treating them like old friends.”

We hope that today’s religious leaders would make the same complaint about our gathering.

We meet on Sunday mornings at 9am and all are welcome. We pray and share a meal before a time of singing, followed by reading the Bible together, conversation, and communion. At the end of the service, we send one another out to “go be the church” with a communal prayer.

Those who join us for breakfast and communion are encouraged to continue eating together over lunch in a a nearby restaurant in our neighborhood or at one another’s homes.
